View Full Version : help with maya problem
hippie-andy 05-25-2003, 05:18 AM hello everybody! i was attepting to model a car body using a polygonal plane in maya and then i realized that the vertex faces are not attatched to each other. this means that if i took a normal polygonal plane and extruded it then scaled it down, i would have multiple scaled faces instead of one scaled face with multiple polygons... can anyone tell me how to keep it from doing this?!?
thx
andy

You need to turn on keep faces together under the polygons->tool options

The defaults for rendering blow but are fast.. so don't be so quick to judge ;-)
