Done a little update, only about an hour or so. Mostly on fleshing out some subtle form.

It's starting to look very good. I think that his upper lip is kind of thin though. In both of the reference images, he's giving a little bit of smile and the upper lip is still pretty full.

Shocklate, thanks man. You were spot on. Hopefully the top lip looks better now.
Not sure the hair will work out.. I'll give it a try though.

This is looking great! Adjusting that upper lip added way more character and enhanced the likeness quite a bit. Good call.

Cheers. I decided to do a full character now. It's early, and I'm still feeling out the shapes but everything is more or less there to refine.

The skills you guys have got with z brush is amazing. Just a crit, his hands and forearms look a bit short (edit actually on second look it is his body is a little large for his limbs) :)

Glad to see you're going for the full body.
One crit...the hands seem a bit too small. Nice shoes, btw!

Thanks DDS. He's let himself go a bit eh.
I can't really work on it anymore, so this will probably be the state I have to submit it in. Not overly happy with it but there you go. Do we have to render this stuff out or what?
