View Full Version : Uvs and Zbrush question, need help!
buddikaman 06-30-2008, 05:29 AM Guys i made my first ever sculpt. I created the low poly in max, cloned it, changed the topology and imported to zbrush and sculpted it. Im now trying to figure out how i can get the High poly sculpt(that has no uvs) to my low poly(that does) please tell me this is possible???

Take your high poly sculpt down to level 1 SDs and apply Smooth UVs and then GUVs which will automatically calculate a map for you. You then need to export a displacement map and normal map to your rendering app. Press cage to create a low poly mesh you can export from ZBrush - there are plenty of tutorials on ZBrush central about all these steps and the manual is also really helpful ;)
