Title: Loch Ness
Name: Alec Syme
Country: United States
Software: CINEMA 4D, VRay
Recent Vray render of one of my favorite things. Liked the idea of pushing scale on this one. Textures were super important in pulling this off. I've created more images and print ads of this set. Here's the link: http://www.fusefx.net/monsterlures.html
I've been using C4d for over 8 years now. With Vray, it's an awesome combo. Comments are appreciated.
Thanks!
Alec

Those are some amazing textures/shaders!!
Only a few areas give it away as cg (besides the scale of course).

Great image!!! I like the idea and the rendering is very good! The image tells so much without having living characters in it. It´s allmost like you´ve got the monster in the image. Great storytelling image.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I really think that Vray has completely changed the look of my images (in a good way). I'm so enamored with it that I'm thinking of looking at learning Max just to be "closer" to the whole Vray experience. Vray and Max are sort of a core team. The port to Cinema is nice, and I LOVE it, but I'm starting to want to get to the source so to speak.
Thanks again.
