hi every body.
i want to know your comments in this piece .
i did it for my friend ( little challenge ) . i use 3ds max 9 , & mental ray for render , and photoshop for final color correction.

Yeah I don't get the low rating - 4 stars from me as well. Lighting could use some work to show off the model quality. Can you post a wireframe?

I like the design, and specially the Headstock ! it makes the guitar so modern.

Nice rendering, but I think u should use different color ranges for the model and the walls and minimize the blue/violet ambient light so the model can be clear, and it can be detached from the background.
The white wood of the body seems to be blurry, i think u can reduce the blurr and make some reflection (using an hdri environnement too will improve reflection and make itmore relist)
And for the blue wall at left u must use an UVW mapping :beer: -laban mou charab :cool:-

The strings are wrong on the nut. They should be evenly spaced. Also they would read better, if they were regular light colour.
Otherwise, good render!
