Hi All

Up to now I haven't had any requirement to model from an Architects plans. I have not actually modeled from plans before but feel it can't be that difficult and should be self explanatory (A wall here, a wall there etc) but me being risk conscious thought I would just double check with you experts.

The designs will be for multi story business buildings and need to be modeled for high quality print. I will be using 3DSMax and VRay.

What common pitfalls can I prepare for?

Is there any available documentation I could read up on as a primer to reading detailed floor plans.

Thanks for any advice.
Geoff

I think the best place to ask is at www.cgarchitect.com
Architectural modeling has it's rules and logic and to know to read plans(blueprints) is essential.
