Bear with me, ask questions if you need clearification because it will probably come out wierd:
I build a model of an article of clothing. and i want to put this clothing on a model. The programs I have accesable are Maya ( unlimited) and Blender. You make the cloth a soft body and the human model a hard body so when the hard body moves the cloth moves also, but when you pause the animation and go back to model the clothing (soft body model) resports back to its "edit mode" shape. Does ncloth do this also? Is there any way to keep this shape? Maybe I am approaching the question from a wrong angle? Is there any way to edit a mesh on top of another so that if you were to scale it, as soon as it hits the next plane of geometry, the model being scaled stops? Other programs have this capability?
Thanks for help!
