I am from china.
see my work at www.chinatranslate.net/www/3.htm
someone say it is good and many people need my services.
but less people need it.
why?
It's because not many people know me?

could you please give me some suggestion or ask me where can I promote my services ?

thanks.

Some really nice models, but theres not enough organic stuff there, like realistic himan forms, which are probably the most difficult.

Good luck

I dont agree with G.Rod...your modeling is awesome I think...not everyone can model organic stuff, and not everyone can model objects such as cars and buildings. I think there is a need for your talent..if you just market yourself....maybe you need to texture your models as well and render them out as opposed to just screencaps.....also, try and post more here on CGTalk as this is the first time that Ive seen your work....and link to your site so your images show up in the thread. Good luck.

I agree with your later points 'greekdish', but as a modeler he should be applyying himself to all of the different aspects, it's not that efficient, just being able to model beautiful buildings and objects, i think he should spread his talents a little further to attract more people. I mean im no expert, (im still a student), but i have been following the industry fo some time.

If I was thinking about hiring you, there's one thing that would inpress me - software rendering.

$200 per animated second? is that even realistic?

$200 per animated second? is that even realistic?

If you're bidding on effects for a feature film, $30,000 per animated second might be pretty typical... same for an expensive commercial.

However, virtually nobody bids in that way, and for that reason people aren't likely to be comfortable with someone quoting their rate like that...

you definetly need some rendered images and not just screencapt. When you render them your models will look much better.

yeahh man , ... looks like you cant sell yourself good, ... thats all !

If you're just waiting or , ... whatever, ...

nobody of interest takes a pick on you!

just make some software renderings, and post details of your working-flow, time etc. and move towards people of interest:cool: !
btw, ... very nICE models !!!

ok this is how i see it as a freelance designer i go thru the same issues....First the website is slow loading which you may not think important but with a busy schedual i would want a fast site to view.....now if you are just trying to sell models there is one problem you have there are plenty of sites such as 3D cafe that have thousands of models to choose from and most larger studios have an account there.....you need to contact the people you plan on selling to directly dont just expect them to find you.....what you should do is make full images and try to sell a style.......
