Here are a few images of a Gundam i modeled last year. It is the 3rd model i've ever made, And i've yet to "complete" anything better than it so far.

I only had 3 monthes exsperience when i made this. So please don't beat me too badly when i tell you it's made entirely out of NURBS surfaces.

My free Geocities account says......

"The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer."

Further information tells me that it will be back in an hour.

So for now i'm going to have to remove a few of those images and apply them later on....Hopefully this dosn't happen again.

cool, not one for anime.

but technically it looks good. You should do an animation.

I've made an animation for it, with extended scenes.....I just gotta find out how to get a Divx codec to work with my editing software, and get myself on a proper webspace. Then i can post the clip.

People can be so stupid sometimes, I doubt 95% of the people here have seen Gundam ;)

But btw man.. That rox you should hook up with one of the Gundam Mods for q3 or UT2003 :applause: :applause: :applause:

Scratch it up alot... and I mean ALOT! It's too shiny... too reflective... unless this is a brand new one... but still it probably wouldn't even look that shiny... And, I mean, why even make it shiny in the first place... it's gonna get screwed over sooner or later.

Dancing Monkey, Hello.

In the story line MoileSuit Gundam.the Gundams outer Shell is made from it's own unique metal compound, which is basically super resistant to intense heat and hard impact. (Gundainium).. I wanted the core (black Vest part) to maintain an imperial appearance, cause this Gundam is the 20th anaversary mech of the series.

As to you're view on it's appearance, I'd have to aggree it's too reflective, But i think it needn't be scratched up. Then again i'm the type of guy that dosn't like to see Gundams smashed up...To me they are beautiful peices. i'll keep your idea in mind and try to conjure up something along the line for that texture though.

Any other crits out there ?

Okay i compressed each image into a smaller size, and hopefully this time it woun't exceed Giocities data transfer limits....If not then enjoy.

Wooo, quite cool!..

however it seems that the center part of the body is a bit out.. the part for the upper body seems to taper in too much... too think in the center..

And the lower body the plates looks a bit odd to me..

Very good modeling job. I do agree with what was metioned, alittle to refelctive on the chest. Other than that looks really damn good. Very clean work.
