Who am I?

My name is Joshua Morris. I am an experienced Game designer and Producer.

What Have I worked on?

I was the Designer and Producer of Star Trek: Starfleet Command II and Star Trek: Starfleet Command Orion Pirates for Interplay. I also was the concept designer on Star Fleet Command III to be published by Activision.

What am I doing now?

I am looking to create a professional business plan and game design document to be presented to publisher or better yet, angel investors. I have the concept and rough design document. The next step is to make it a professional document.

Who am I looking for?

I really need to start with some great concept artists. I would love to talk to programmers as well, but I am not at the stage to begin work. If you happen to have a ton of cash and want to invest, please, by all means contact me. =)

What kind of commitment am I looking for?

A serious one. I intend to get this game funded and produce it. Part time work is very acceptable, but you must be serious and stay in excellent contact with me. You must be mature (doesn’t mean old) and talented, Industry experience is a plus but talent, ambition, and drive is more important. Everyone needs to break into the Game industry somehow.

What will we be working on?

I can not discuss it in an open forum but I can share with interested individuals that are looking to seriously get involved.

What I can offer?

Nothing up front. I am doing this in my own time because I believe in myself and know that it will get done. I will offer jobs to anyone that shows the skill and aptitude needed to
make it in the game industry. If you are an artist that is just looking to pick up some cash on the side I will offer money for every piece that is used in the proposal/game. I will work this out personally with you.

Still interested?

Email me at Jinxxathome@yahoo.com. Please provide me a resume and or samples of your work. Let me know a little about yourself and why you would be interested in joining me.

This board should be for Pay only! Artist get abused all the time. This kind of stuff rarely works out and it the artist that gets shafted.

So I say again.............this should form should be used for employment. Contract............sure.....but it should be paid for the whole contract.

I think I have been up front in my posting and I think its legititmate. I stated the risks involved and I would not ask for mature and reliable people if I wasnt one myself.

I have been close to landing a deal twice now and I think with the right art in the proposal it would go through.

I sorry if I have offended you, but I do not intend to abuse any artists, I think that I am offering poeple a opportunity.
I have been in the industry and have what it takes to get it done. This isn't a crappy vaporware title.

I hope people will consider this seriuosly, and I thank the people that have responded already.

Depending on the specifics of the project, in particular your attitude towards possession of copyright of work produced etc, I may be interested in doing some work as a concept artist.

Here's a link to some of my work on this forum:
