I'm sorry Henry, but this is not very good.
Taken into consideration that you spent four months on it, there are
many things that should have been better. I might have judged it
differently if you had posted it in the WIP since I think it belongs there
for the time being.
Now, on to some hands on crits:
1. The whole design lacks flow. If you study how the automotive artists work, you'll
see that there is a flow in the shapes from the nose to the rear. I especially like
how they do it on Ferraris and I think I can see some of the Enzo in your front.
Your design looks like something from Chop shop and there's a reason for that,
he doesn't plan it very well either. Just does what leaps into mind and unfortunately
that makes the designs look very amateurish. With that said, there can be some
nice little features that spring out that that flow though.
2. As you know most modern sports cars are mostly plastic/carbon fibre.
Yours look like it's welded out of lets say 3mm steel, and that wouldn't work
with a car like this. It's simply to heavy. Again, this is something that Chop shop
would do.
3. The passenger compartment looks terrible. It's rushed and does not fit the rest
of the car. There are no creases for the doors either so I wonder how they get into
this automobile. The pillars, I completely lost the english word for it, are way too thick.
You also have a nasty gap at the bottom of the wind shield and the sides are very
rough.
4. The tires are something you would find on a pimp my vulgar hip-hop L.A. car and you'd never find them on a performance sports car. They simply could not take the stress from going +300 km/h.
5. There's a big round thing in the center of the drivers view. That would seriously hinder him or her from seing anything of the road since it's right in the line of sight.
There are other things as well, but start with these and post in the WIP and we'll take it from there.

I just took a stroll through your website since you were kind enough to envite me..
Something cought my eye: "The road from apprentice to what I prefer to call “Jedi” mastery in the world of computer animation was not an easy one, as the very access to a personal computer in the first place was not possible."
Now, Henry, you are definately not a Jedi master yet. I'd say you are somewhere around where Luke trains onboard the Falcon for the first time. You have some nice ideas, but the execution still lacks skill.
But if you keep practising and post over in the WIP, I'm sure some of the more experienced artist will gladly
give you some professional pointers and hints. You see, if you post it in finished art, usually you will not get any help since you allready considered the piece final.
