Title: Nymph
Name: Wioletta Szczepanska
Country: Poland
Software: Painter, Photoshop
I'm very fascinated by painting of prerafaelitas, Millais is my favourite representative of this trend of painting.
I always wanted to create something in similar style. This is my newest work, I hope you'll like it :)

Wow! - Finally I now see a sensible use for the image hose in Painter. I note you have applied this in a subtle way which must be the secret. Inspires me to have a go (I tend to use Painter in a very conservative way).
Nice job!

Looove the mood, and details, it captures pre-raphaelite brotherhood very well, and yes, we have similar subjects and same fav artists - but I'm a Rossetti fan :-)

The style you where looking for, you succeded in. Of your all your paintings I think this one is the closest to it. It is more serene. It has something of jugendstiel: the colors are (nature), the hight (vertical lines), the harder schadowlines and it looks traditional (oil painting). Nice detailing/texturing and reflection in the water. Good luck with your study, are you finished yet?
