For starters, it doesn't look like you are using any sort of modern tech (normal/bump maps, spec maps, etc). Since this is a portfolio piece, I would strongly suggest you get that kind of stuff implemented. I assume you're aiming for a game environment.
The modeling looks pretty solid, but I really can't tell how clean or efficient it is without seeing a wireframe. Maybe post an image or two with the wireframe on?
Check your pixel density on your objects. Try to make sure that your textures are going to be the same density (Or close to it) across the board. Especially where two objects meet up. It doesn't look too bad currently, but one area that feels considerably lower res is the roof tiles compared to the brick.
In render_04 you have a small brick wall right at the bottom of the image, and it has concrete for the top of the model. So it goes straight from bricks to concrete, that's probably not a good idea.
I know it's pretty early WIP, so I won't go too much further. Post some wires and keep updating.

hey cheers for the replys
psychojohno: yea the pubs near my house in leic so decided to model it for the folio.
Flewda: Thanks for the comments at the min im just getting everything textured and then i will make the Norm/ spec maps once I've gt everything in place
At the min I've used 3 2048 maps and 1 512 for the roof so I think thats why you me able to tell that the roof is a lower res version compared to everything else I'll change that as im not sure what res texture 2 use whetha i should stick to 2048 or go to 1024 or even 512
regards to the concrete on the wall its meant to be a concrete ledge but i noticed that you cnt really tell so I will look into that as thers no shadows
I will get some wire posted either today or tommorow as im going to be working on this today and see how far i can get with it
cheers

Best tip I can give you at the moment is to upload your work to an image hosting site like Photobucket. Being able to see your own links isn't gonna get you much crit!
If we can see your work in the forum you'll get alot more advice.:)

Cheers for the advice Vertex Groover.
I've now added my work to the photobucket site so you should not have a problem viewing my work. I have also added the wireframe screens shots.

The wireframe looks really clean and solid. Nice job. There is a few areas that probably could use a bit of optimization, but all in all looks good.

Agreed. The wireframe shows some excellent modelling skills. Maybe its a little poly heavy in some places, but like Flewda said, that could always be optimized.
What is the current Triangle count?
Keep it up!

I was looking at my wireframes to and started telling myself i could lose polys here and here at the min the model weighs in at 17,218 triangles 8,422 polys :D
I was going for a high poly look but trying not to go over board
Much better count than the sikh temple I've put on hold as thats probably quadruple the count
hopefully do an update soon cheers for the feedback guys
