While I don't see photo realism as being the answer to all things, I do think that to get the full potential out of this, that either it should be heavily stylised or very convincing as a 'near real image'
I think the texturing on the table er.. is pretty unconsidered.. and the plate .. so .. so. The skin texture doesn't look like skin but if it did and looked 'sensitive' then it would be so much more effective.
Personally, as an image I like it a lot, thogh I have never seen any one eat raw meat where it wasn't in thin slithers like smoked salmon or parma ham so I think the diners might ask you to cook it a little. :)

This image is garbage. It is not "refreshing". The shading, lighting and modeling all need lots of work. I can BARELY tell that is a penis. I'd say come up with a better idea too, or atleast try to make it more obvious just what message you are trying to get across, or are you just going for shock value with no message? If you are content with the layout of the image, I suggest some serious modeling improvements on the penis most of all, and increase the render tesselation on that plate too.

Well I get the feeling that people's problem with it is that there doesnt' seem to be any intent to make an exciting or unique image, just to shock. I don't recall anyone saying he shouldn't be allowed to post what he wants. Maybe I missed something. Censoring the image is up to the admins certainly, and if they wish to remove the image... so be it. It's their board. Let's not, however, confuse criticism of Rivendale's judgement with censorship.

Anatomically you are missing some key vessels and you might be better studying some texts, but apart from that I am not sure why people are getting so worked up about someone posting a picture of a half eaten penis.

The fuss made over genitalia on this board is far disproportionate to the amount of art/work showing it.
