Update, I have him pretty much finished, I am about to start texturing him.

I cut the polygon count for his head from almost 2 thousand to somewhere in the 800's. It still looks pretty good I think.

I was told by someone that I was too slow. So I'm working on speed. I did a test model, to see how fast I can model a full body.

It took me 1 hour 20 minutes. Check out the link, and tell me what you think. This is my first try at speed modeling.

I still need to find a way to model a head in record time. I'm having some trouble doing it by starting from a box. I haven't gotten the hang of it just yet.

The way I can model heads the easiest, is to make a small plane around the eye, and spread out from there. It feels much more natural to me.

Update

I finished modeling him, and started texturing. So far I finished the sword, but I just barely started to texture Rain, so all I have are flat base colors.

I will have him done some time today, with the wrinkles in the cloth, and stuff like that.

I just noticed that I forgot to model the little gold teeth that stick out of his knee pads around the bottom. Also the right anklet is going through him a little. I will fix that later.
