View Full Version : Trouble With FinalRender GI and Hairtrix

Hey all,
Im having trouble rendering my image with hairtrix and final render's global illumination.
Whenever I do so I get small black dot shown throughout the hair. I've searched the forums and even had a look at this thread http://www.cebas.de/forums/smf/index.php?topic=7364.0 (http://www.cebas.de/forums/smf/index.php?topic=7364.0). I changed my setting to the ones recomended but still to no avail. Any help or input on my situationwould be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

hey man, any news on this? just curious how finalRender works with hairtrix..?

Hey it actually works pretty well but there are a few issues. Are far as i knon the only shader that works with the hairfx renderer and GI is the ornatrix expensive. It takes a little longer to render but you results are pretty realistic. But you could always create hair using ornatrix and use that renderer then all you other shaders should work if you have the right settings. Sorry if doesn't make sense let me know if you need me to clarify.

hey man.... mmm.. could you clarify a bit more please? :D
so does it work with GI ? and by working i donīt mean " doesnīt crash" but does it proper get and cast GI and stuf?
