I agree with Bubbaloo (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=256469). Somehow it looks too small. Perhaps a shot from a lower angle would also help scale it up. along with tweaking the DOF. -Great image, all the same! ;)

Hi Cem. This is a an great robot. I love the detail you put into all the individual pieces, and it has all the right cues from the influences you listed, which I'm also a fan. I think this is a winner. My only crit would probably be that it's a little dark, but that's just me, I like to see things brightly lit so I can really look at it closely. Otherwise it's a good render, it sets a mood to the environment. Keep up the good work, I'd like to see more robots like this but it seems not many artists will go this direction often; yours is a great example. Have any video of this in action? What was the theme of the music video? Look forward to more.

hey Brian, I'm glad you like it. I love robots too and would love to see more around here. I'm busy with rig-animation-composite process now. Too much work but one seat here :) I'll post some sample shots soon. Theme of the song is global warming, genres is electronica-trip hop.
