View Full Version : Not Responding
pierce 05-23-2003, 11:36 PM i have maya 4.0 and 4.5, i have recently been really into learning maya. i went out and bought some books and have been following some tutorials. i first noticed a problem when i went to name a layer and stuff, once i clicked "ok" or whatever it is my maya just stops responding ( in both versions ). but that was ok i could live with out custom named layers, but then when i tryed to switch to Hypershade/render/persp it just stops responding on me. i want to know if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it or what. i am very eager to commence with my learning that i have started. please help me out.

im thinking its something to do with your computer, maybe video card problems? i also always blame everythign on video card to people. most the time though that is the case. i would maybe check your drivers, but im probally wrong. other than that i have no ideas sorry .
