Wow been a while since I've seen you here.

No you need a specific type of subdivision algorithm for that, that most applications do not bother to support, called Doo sabin. Its hard to tell in the second pic though it may also be loop but I assume by the first example that it is Doo Sabin

Actually it's not Doo-Sabin but Loop subdivision (developed by Charles Loop). Doo-Sabin looks different, see attached picture.

If you need to work with that mesh in C4D I suggest you untriangulate it before using it in a HN.

You can remesh in TopMod till you can't stand it any more.

Hay Kai hope your doing well.
ah years a go I went to far, got put on probation here, so all my post get posted after they been approved,this takes time.
just faster for me to use other forms.
