Title: Jiver
Name: Romeo Sinkala
Country: Namibia
Software: Photoshop

Portrait sketch from photo reference done in a practice session. I stumbled across Andrew Jones' website and saw he had 1000 portraits ... hey what a cool idea to improve my skills. So I decided to start my 1000 portrait as well, I'm sure I get better by the time I'm on 999. wish me luck.

Please comment and give advice.

Great mood man! I love his expression and pose! And love the colors too! What a shame that you haven't "finished" it, yet. I miss his leg so bad, but i understand that this is "just" a portrait study... Keep at it, and good luck for the other 999! :arteest:

this is probably one of your better works. good job in movement. You should continue this type of unique style. can't wait to see your next painting.

Thanks for those inspiring and encouraging words ... now that I have witnesses, I'll keep to my oath. Just now my mind was saying ... it's not 1000, it's 100, but I checked again and it's 1000 and I'm really up for it, because of you guys. thanks tinO0n, Zocsi, ShogunWarrior and
