Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and I thought I'd introduce myself.

So, to start things off, I'm 16 and I've taken animation for two semesters in high school. I don't know much, but hope to learn more and get a career in this field.
For my final project, our teacher let us do ANYTHING. For me, this was too much. I wasn't used to this kind of freedom. So, I did what anyone would do in a stressful situation, i decided to not use my imagination for once (I know *shock* for all you professionals). So I made my final project the intro to star wars iii. I made obiwan's and anikin's star fighters lego, as my teacher is a big lego fan. This was the finished product:

after my teacher saw it, he gave me 100% on the spot (happy day).

also an explosion I made at home using fluid effects. Needs some work with the black smoke at the end, id like to make that last longer.

C&C welcome!

I love the Lego aspect. Can you do photorealistic? And could you just take given models and work them into an animation combat sequence? I am the writer/director for a full length Star Wars fan film that's knee deep in CG post production and if you're interested in padding your portfolio...and talking with several of the CG Professionals I have on board...then I'd like to talk to you. My email is below.
