well .. i find it a good idear to follor zealots innitiativ.. to start a shag hair thread..
shag hair is kindah complicated.. and so
how do we get reall looking hair.. and how do we plan it..
straight hair is easy..but what if you want difficult stuff..
maybe spiky hair etc..
so how can we get things done with shag..
if we all bind our powers of what we know.. we will find out :)
information: one thing i know is that all shag tuts show ..that the hair is been made on the head mesh its self..
instead of thatyou can better.. copy the part of the head wher you want the hair to be, scale it down..and put it right under the mesh(skin).. ao the hair comes out of the head for reall ,and you wont have texture problems.. ,so you texture on the head wont dissapear orhas to be re assigned..at the end attacht the 2 meshes.. and let the ids and its mats in tact :-)
