Ok, so I've been having some issues with the importing and re-importing of my character between Maya and Zbrush. It seems that as I swap the model between the programs, I am getting weird instances in ZBrush, in this case, catching points(parts of my model that "catch" onto invisible points in the 3D space of Zbrush(or 2.5D, whatver you prefer)), as well as snapping issues, where when I re-import my model from Maya to Zbrush, it doesn't snap to a normal axis. The catching points have screwed up various parts of the model, and are pretty much impossible to fix in Zbrush alone, see, there's no filling them in, and it just causes really screwy geometry when I attempt to do that. And as far as the axis issues go, it is snapping to a weird axis when I bring it in and try to snap it to a normal angle, as well, it has also messed up the symmetry option on the brush as you can see. ANYWAY.. I'm just guessing, but I'm assuming it has something to do with the normals, as I did indeed soften them in Maya(for rendering purposes), and imported the model back into Zbrush as is. I'm about 90% sure it is that, I guess I'm just looking for someone to confirm it. *shrugs* Any and all help is appreciated. Here are some shots to help with the problem.
