ok i guess from xl 7 to r8 have changed alot for align to spline can anyone help explain how i can get it to work, its different then this tutorial (http://www.maxoncomputer.com/tutorial_detail.asp?tutorialID=207&site=) Thank you for taking time for reading this.

HI. It took me a sec to find it the first time too. In the object manager File > Add Expression > Align to spline. Then select the tag and in the attributes manager you will see a box for Spline Properties. Drag the spline into it. Then set your timeline where you want the first key frame. Right click or apple key in the word postion at 0% and go to Animation > Add key frame. Then move the timeline to where you want it. Change the postion % to the desired amount say %100 and add another key frame. HTH
