here is my first car i am working on... using the wonderful Cinema 4D 8... lots of work left but learning so much about 3D cars and Cinema 4D

You got the basic shape right, but the surface is uneven.

I haven't used cinama 4d before so I don't know what procedure you're using to model this...from what I see, I would guess either patch modeling or lowpoly-meshsmooth modeling :p
