Hi,I'm trying to render fur in maya and I've come across a few problems...first one is,can I render fur in a separate layer without its origin geometry? I'd like to have a fur only layer!
and the second question is if is there a way to improve the z channel in maya,because I noticed that when the fur appears in render,I suppose it uses the 256 z channel from maya and there are some artifacts because of the lack of depth grayscale?
does anybody know solutions for rendering fur?
