The Marian S201 submersible is a vehicle created by a private submarine company. The submersible is very interesting and has a long future ahead of it. We were asked to make physical models in smaller scales but started with a digital model so we could rapid prototype elements of the physical model. Taking it furtner, I thought it would be interesting to create a warehouse set to house the submarine on its trailer. The rendering is a radiosity rendering in Cinema using 'work lights' on a stand just out of shot to the left and drop lights from the ceiling per real warehouse lighting.
