I'm curious, since I see this different all the time. One second is supposed to be 24 frames, but how should the Time Slider be set in Maya? I've seen it as 0-24, 1-24, and even 1-25.

Is there an actual correct one or doesn't it matter?

Thx.

It should be from 1-24, the other options you mentioned will give you a framerate of 25 frames per second.

shouldn't it not matter? the time slider doesn't show how many frames are being played in one second, its just whatever frames you have it set to play from. thats like saying if you're time slider is going from 1-600, that its playing at 600 fps. Its still playing at 24 fps no matter what your time slider says., unless you went into your prefs and changed your frame rate.
