When I make my camera a child to a null object it shifts an jumps out of position. I heard I could use xpresso to make it work. Im going to set up a second camera just a bit to the right. (stereoscopic image)

The animation will always be relative to the parent.
You can either apply a dynamic parent constraint (if that will work, it may not), parent it to a null that's located at the current parent position for the camera and then place that null as a child of a null at the position you want it to be, or adjust all the animation keys, you can do that either manually, using some COFFEE/Xpresso or just by using the Animation Tool in C4D and moving the whole curve in viewport interactively to where you want it to be.
