(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/256074_1213813581/1024bound)cogwheels, even the first ones in history, were just simple shapes raised from a 2D flat design...in my opinion the cogwheels are the basic elements of 2D-3D fusion. simple yet the ground bricks of structures of great complexity.

Your work is really great --the metal is absolutely superb! The backgound is wonderful, too. However I find the composition a bit static - it should enhance the dimensionality of your beautiful workings. Congratulations and good luck.
