Hi, I'm wondering what technique to use to attach two seperate objects together. I've tried using edge and vertex attachment as well as target welding the vertices but do not get the results I want. I want to attach two seperate objects without manipulating their mesh so that the result will be one object. Thanks, I really would appreciate the help.

You might try a boolean operation.
Otherwise you're probably going to have to edit the meshes to get the results you want with target welding. What is it exactly that you're trying to put together?

I'm going to edit a fantasy themed warrior head and body and i'm just trying to attach by target welding without messing up my configuration. Thanks, I really appreciate the help. My friend just lent me some Lynda modeling tutorial collection for practice so hopefully that will help me as well. I'm just beginning, but I went over the Lynda essentials package. I will listen to any advice you have to offer. Thanks.
