(http://assets.cgsociety.org/nvart/45167_1213763350/1024bound)Based on a verse from the Hindu Sacred Scriptures, The Katha Upanishad, this Artwork , based on the Divine Proportion, uses the 40 week Human Pregnancy Biological Graph, with Scientific Diagrams of various stages, as an example of The Protection the Mother provides to the Foetus, during those 40 weeks.This is compared to the Protection every Human provides to His/Her Soul inside his / Her body. "The Fire" within us , that we protect.

Ive tried to cobine 2D and 3D in equal proportions and truly make a DESIGN FUSION.

Softwares Used::
Cinema 4D and Adobe Photoshop.

Here is the Exact Translation from Sanskrit to English...

The all-seeing fire which exists hidden in the two ( Fire producing ) sticks, just like the foetus is well-guarded in the womb by the mother, (that fire) is to be worshipped day after day by wakeful seekers (after wisdom), as well as by sacrificers. This verily is That ( the Invisible Absolute ).
... Katha Upanishad ( Chapter 2 : Part 1 :Verse 8 )

.PROTECTION.] , based on a verse from Katha Upanishad, compares the protective nature of a mother’s womb towards the unborn foetus within it with the human quest to discover the protected hidden fire within us.

It uses the 40 week pregnancy timeline with various Biological diagrams depicting the Sex Differentiation stages of a Human embryo.

This is really amazing. I love your concept and colors. There is a really mystical feel to it. If I may say, I find the little fiddly bits (discs & spheres) near the edges (especially the left side) to be distracting and a little too repetitious. Your piece is bold enough to do without! Congratulations and good luck!
