Russo 05-23-2003, 02:19 AM hello, there is some way to customize rotate/pan, zoom viewport, to holding Alt+ clic? So I could cut polygons without deselecting cut tool...

i think its ctrl +, alt + MMB for pan and rotate.
but i think it changes to that tool, so it will release the cut tool. download cleancut, it will remain active regardless of ratating/panning, until u hit the RMB. plus its a lot faster and cleaner.

If you have a scroll wheel mouse, just hold alt and click the scroll wheel (3rd mouse button). This does what you want.

The middle mouse button stops the cut function. You can press "i" (pan viewport) while cutting or drawing a spline without breaking up the action. For rotation there is not such afunction, as far as i know.

And scrolling the mouse weel zooms in and out without stopping the cut function as well.
