Hello there folks

I have two requests hopefully some of your nice ladies and gentlemen can give me a hand. I am trying to figure out the best way to model heads with both Nurbs and Polygons in Maya. Which way generally gives the best results as far as texturing and animatable geometry.

I am also trying to figure out good strategies for modelling clothing on characters. Hi res Clothing this is for a Animated short and I need as much Detail as I can. If anybody can point me to some tutorials in which these two ideas are discussed. Or if you happen to have alot of experience with modelling these kinds of things in maya your direction would be invaluable to me.

thank you very much for any help you can give me.

was hoping for at least a couple of suggestions. I haven't seen many tutorials for that kinda thing on the web only very specific stuff on the body like polygon head modelling haven't seen a maya based head tut in ahwhile and modelling clothing seems a very quiet subject. I don't know if most of you use Maya cloth for it or what.

So just to keep trying BUMP!!

Why not just do a search for "maya tutorials" either here or on google, I'm sure you'd come up with at least a few hits, no?

There are at least a good dozen tutorials for modeling heads, this one being the perhaps easiest one: Joan of Arc Tutorial (http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.asp) It teaches modeling clothes as well...
