The curved shapes are used to lead the viewer's eyes into a new world and create a pleasant contrast against the hard environment lines. Most of the organic shapes used warmer color tones, while the hard surface shapes used cooler tones.

Software used: Maya, Shake, Photoshop

Cool concept; especially with the ribbons coming in and out of the frame. I like the floor model and render a lot. Well done.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who viewed my image and also to everyone who participated in the competition! This has been my first competition on CGSociety and the amount of creativity people took with this amazing. There were so many inspirational entries. Good luck to everyone and congratulations on an awesome contest :)
