Yes, it is emitting electromagnetic radiation in the infrared region. This can lead to temporarily reduced fertility. The gamete factories are out side the body because the little wiggles can't take heat. But you'd be nuts to worry about it.

yes, I made it a habit to stay away from any kind of heater and all that...erm...radioactive heat. Better be safe than sorry.

Oh no wait, I live in Southern California, that is why I stay away from heaters.

;)

What kind of battery half life do you get on your machine ?

Your laptop gives off heat (infrared), RF, and EMF. Neither of the second should be very strong. You need to relax. Wearing ighty whities will affect the family jewels more than the laptop.

wheres the problem? ive got a laptop too, and often use it with up to 100% cpu. and thats makes about 60°Celsius before the motherboard sensor detects it and starts the fans till its 55°Celsius or so (still way to hot)
so i installed a little program (under linux) with which i can control both fans (two different spinning speeds). so, even with constant cpu usage of 100% i can keep the temperature down to 30-35°C

Yay, its the pill for men! I knew someone would make one sooner or later. God knows I don't need any kids.

Actually it wasn't the word that amused me. It was the fact that the sentence could have two different meanings, both cogent in the given context depending on how the word's part of speech was parsed out--it's a type of pun...but never mind.:)
