View Full Version : Smoke sprites images

Hello,


Does someone have the rendered smoke sprites (smoke.0,smoke.1,...) to use with the Dynamics menu > Effects> Smoke ?
It's not included with my PLE version. I read it's with the Full Maya version...

I'm using Maya PLE , and trying to use these smoke effect.
I would be very thankfull if someone can sent me those images.

I'm pretty sure this would be a violation of the end-user agreement (to distribute Autodesk content in part or whole)

google is a wealth of images though, would be a good start for finding something similair or even better.

an easy way to make your own is explained in gnomons sprites DVD. They even give you a sequence of 100 to use for smoke.

what an awesome tute! I love you man!

one correction. you need to use attribute linker to connect the

scaleYArrayMap min and max values to the scaleXArrayMap otherwise the sprites will be stretched.

but thanks for the awesome write up it came in really handy.
