Title: HULK
Name: Damir G. Martin
Country: Croatia
Software: Photoshop, ZBrush

Hi everyone!

I all ways wanted to make my own Hulk attempt, cos I really like that character, so here it is.

I hope you will be enjoying this image as I did enjoy while making it.
I didn't wanted to just pose Hulk, but I wanted to set him into environment, creating image that can portrait Hulk, and what he's all about, his everlasting confrontation with military and his immense brute power.

Image was composed out of number of photos from my library and something from net.
Only actual 3d is Hulk, which was modeled in Zbrush, and rendered there.

I was not sure which category this belongs to, but, my goal was Hulk, and he is 3d, so hope I'm not in the wrong place.

Nice work, like Nelle stated the motion doesn't feel powerful enough. Maybe if he crushing the hell out of the barrel it would show intensity, along with the weight of the main part of the gun there would bend with force from hulk and gravity. It's nice tho, dig the composition. Are the jeans 3D as well? If so ace! Like the bullet indents too :)

Great job!! Love the composition... I think perhaps there's not enough contrast and hulk is a little light in colour... I agree with the others somethings not quite giving it enough spontaneous action.

Side note: What's with all the Hulk models... not that I'm complaining as they're all so good... lets just hope it isn't added to the showreel don'ts like good ol spaceships.

Composition is really good, but your model is a little strange...anatomically speaking

Otherwise,Id say its a pretty good piece

Hi guys, thx for positive feedback:)

The Hulk is 3d, but the pants arent,, everything was painted and composited in photoshop, some paint job, some photo comp,,

I know that there is lot of detail here that could make this piece look better...
I like the idea of crushed barrel, I agree that there's at least 20-30 % or even more place for more emotions and dynamics to this scene,,

VFX___Hehhe, I noticed to that there si lot of Hulking lately, I like it..

Thx for these true comments,, it drives us for more studious approach to our work.

Hi,

By coincidence, I saw the movie two nights ago (Prince Caspian had sold out, I hadn't expected Hulk to be showing yet).
I'm going to cruelly nitpick for a bit:
I think your Hulk looks painted somehow, (by the Hildebrandts, perhaps) not as photographic as the background.
The hand in front of him could look tighter on the pipe.
I think the eyes could be a lot more expressive; tighter and smaller.

Still, it looks really cool.
I think the hair you did looks better than the hair in the movie. :)
