Hello,

I am messing around with FumeFX and getting some good results and some bad ones, I thought I would pick your brain a bit.

I am having problems in my fire, where blocky, globs pretty much ruin the whole effort. They sorta look like the voxels where the fire is originating from but I can't be sure. I have tried a lot of things in the rendering dialog, just not sure where I am going wrong and assume that it is pre-simulation that I need to fiddle with. Maybe a noise map.

HERE (http://www.watsonmediaworks.com/Images/fire.jpg) is what I am talking.

Ideas?

Increase step size and resim. No other way to hide that stuff.

Thanks Much!

I feel like a nit wit, I guess I wrongfully assumed that since step size was in the render tab that it can be adjusted after the simulation. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry, I ment to say the Spacing size. The rendering step size is for how accurately it samples thought the volumetric effect at render time. Spacing size (in the general rollout) is to set the density of the sim voxels
