So here is my entry for the uplift challenge.
I wanted to depic a scene in the everyday life sometime in the future.
The officers are searching for an suspect, who has opposed the system in some way. Through informants they got a hint which led them to a den of thieves beyond "Barrio 349" where the long arm of law has lost his strength. The dubious persons out here aren't very cooparative so the officers have to bear down on them to get the hints they need.
I disclaimed on purpose the extreme belief of future. Its not naturally that everyone has the newest gadgets. Not in past, not today ,nor in future. So the only one who has a gimmick is the captain. It's a holodisc which has three-dimensional photographies of suspects. The rest i wanted to keep futuristic, but believable.
