Title: Prince of Darkness
Name: Linh PhanVu
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

hi guys, this is an assigment for my "concept-technic" class, I choose digital medium because I thought that if I have used traditional medium for this piece, it might took forever to paint. I got this idea after finished the previous project called "Ivanhoe". In this painting I want to created a different Ivanhoe, with the dark side of him showing by his eyes, cold expression, simple pose and mystic lighting.
thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome

hello linh,

i love this kind of graphic style!are his robes supposed to be translucent?i think it might look a little beter if the robe was more opaque? just my opinion but the contrast between the face, gauntlets and sword make the robe look washed out maybe-the deatils are very nice though and i like the textured look of the character and his accessories.good work.

So many perfect parts in the artwork, especially the face area. I think the handle part of the sword dont fit that kind of weapon. May be so many big rubi germs there while the sword edge is much too good. Hope to see yr artwork in EX4. Take care, Sir
