CGTalk - impossible Lofts?

How can i create a 'Y' out of those Curves:

I don't think you can with one patch. A single NURBS patch is basically a deformed plane, To get the shape you want I think you'll have to loft the "stalk" of the Y and the two branches seperately, then blend the branches onto the stalk
