Great as always!
I really like your stuff at Sijun. It's nice if you're starting to post here too.
I can't decide which version of this image I like more, it seems you updated it on your site. Anyway, the old version was also very good.
Keep it up man!

Hey thanks alot for the great compliments!
Mikko K: yupp yupp I try to post at as many forums I can hehehe.
Kheemo: nope it's 100% 2D I'm no good at 3D ehehe.
I surfed the net for boeing 737 pics, and crashed planes to se how busted stuff could look, then I painted an aircraft that I wanted to be almost in one piece so you can se what it is, because in reality there would not be much left of an aircraft, even a big one like this!
I don't want to make dead bodies because 1: they're hard to make 2: dead bodies are really really nasty and 3: I try to paint as little blood and pain pics as possible, I men yeah there's a crashed plane there, but no blood and stuff like that, dunno why I don't paint that, just don't find it interesting.
Thanx again for the compliments guys! and wohoo! I made it to the front page :bounce:

WOOOO !
WOW
did you use picture references or a 3d model render to paint onto ?
or do you just have an amazing sense of perspective.

WOW!
That is actually amazing! you've set the atmosphere just right! Awesome work on the highlights, reflections and clouds.
I use it as a wallpaper right now. I'm going to show it off to some folks at a LAN party next week.
What about a 1600 pixels wide version so that I may have a new background ? ;)
Amazing art work there with Photoshop. I like the dark grey feeling about it. Very good detail overall the picture.

Very nice. It remindes me of the film "Alive". I was looking for some bodies as well, but didn't see any. The stillness you've established with the color pallette and the cloud cover gives enough of a feeling of death that you don't need them.
This would make a nice handout card for flight insurance companies:

Thats really awesome, depressing but it wouldn't make much sense to have a plane crash in a bright happy field with bunnies hopping around the ruins......or would it?

Very nice work there. I have taken a very close look at your picture, but even then I could not find a flaw.. nice
But how do you create such a beautifull artwork? Do you first create a rough set-up and after that you finetune the more detailed areas?? and after that again?
GREAT :arteest: :)
