Hello

I'm trying to render out a QT VR file from C4D. I have a model, facing a camera, and there is no animation. All I want is to be able to rotate the model with the VR controls.

At then end of each render, C4d crashes. Not sure if this is a know issue.

But more importantly, the VR doesn't show my model centered as it is in the viewport, it is always slightly offset towards the lower edge of the image, and the camera seems to be shooting from below. This can be somewhat adjusted with the VR controls, but not a nice first sight.

Is there anything I can do to make the centering of the object perfect?

Thanks
Alex

I figured it out...The object needs to be at 0,0,0, regardless of where the camera is aiming...

Cinema's QTVR is a little limited. The good part is that it is there as a inbuilt option.
Why it crashes, I can't tell, since I don't use it.
Instead I use SteadyQTVR, that you can dload from:
tcastudios (www.tcastudios.com) -> xfiles.
It can be placed anywhere and have the basic settings for QTVR object rendering.
Render to pict series and put it together in a authering app such as
VRWorks (http://www.vrtoolbox.com/vrworx26.html)
letting you set a startview etc. It is even possible to make animated QTVR with it:)
by layering.
(There is a pre-release for Leopard if you ask for it by the -very- service minded Rick)

Cheers
