Because thousands of boars are running to their flaming deaths and they can do nothing to stop them....seriously.

Go rent or buy the DVD of Princess Mononoke. It is one of the best movies ever! You can also go to Spirited Away in some cinemas, it's from the same director. More a childerns movie but still superb.

Nice painting, watercolor is hard to do!

I don't think that I make myself popular on cg, if I say that I don't like manga movies...sorry

I understand that, but Princess Mononoke is actually a very good manga. It has a great story and also a superb soundtrack.
It doesn't contain huge robots like most mangas, and while there is some violence it is all functional. :)

If you ever make the great decision to view, be sure you have the original japanese version with subtitles. The english dubbing is so horrible it'll make your ears bleed. :surprised
