Title: The Invincible Ironman
Name: Rafael Grassetti
Country: Brazil
Software: 3ds max, ZBrush
Hi all, just finished a new model and i want to share this techinique that i use that i found really intuitive to do inorganic models.
More Images at
http://grassettiart.com/personal.htm
This model is inspired in the HQ Ironman model. Artwork by Adi Granov (www.adigranov.net)
I use zbrush for some parts of the model like head, face, ribs, and base model rigged and rendered in 3dsmax, scanline. I tried to keep the same comic look.
Hope u all like it.

E ai xara!?
This is pretty kool man! I love the style... very true to the comic version. Nice pose as well...
How did you do the mechanical modeling in zbrush? I can never get that well... I always end up modeling mechanical stuff the traditional way... leaving zbrush just for organic forms.... If you wouldn't mind sharing some of your techniques - that would be kool.
Anyways - another awesome model!
Valeu.

This is header material if you ask me.
I'm also working on a ironman model and I was thinking of posing him exactly like that. I totally see which picture you tried to reproduce and you got really close. Great job
