Looking good, but the bowtie looks too bright compared with the rest.

Hey, that's pretty awesome! I especially like the dust on the table-top, and the sagging in the bean-bags. I didn't really notice the extra brightness in the tie until I read that, but is that what you wanted? I know my eye was drawn to it. Did you purposely make it brighter to remind us of clowns?
Oh and the drum looks great! To be extremely picky, I would say, the back left edge of the skin looks a little dark...you know? Right where the skin tucks away next to the rim. Like there's sort of a line there. Actually, maybe it's just me.

Wow..damn fine image!
The few critiques I do have are minor:
1.) The tuner plate on the radio (the one with all the frequency numbers) looks a little flat. They're usually set back about .25-.5 of an inch from the plastic face. It may actually be that way but in the image it looks a tad flat.
2.) Also The image that appears outside the window looks a bit flat too...there doesn't appear to be much distance b/w the window and whatever that is (the side of a building with a mural on it?). Maybe a bit of blur since your f-stop is gonna be a bit low to get a good focus on the objects that close to the camera.
3.) The scratches on the window. If you look closely there apears to be scratches that go arcoss the window handle and flatten everything out. It looks like they were applied in photoshop to give the wooden part of the window an aged scratched look. But since they go evenly over the handle...it flattens everything out.
I then thought that the image was supposed to be an old photograph that was supposed to have scratches on it but they aren't anywhere else in the scene that I could see. I attached an image below to point out what I'm talking about.

I have to say that this piece is simply stunning. Great photorealism!
(btw the red layer you put on top of the image finished a tad before the right side of the image, ;) )

its looking really good :)
only thing that bothers me is the drum stick on the top.
the shadow that its casting should be over laping the the drum stick on the bottom and the pages of the book...
other than that its a really nice piece to look at...awsome job at making it look old :thumbsup:

First of all, it looks veeeeeeeeeeeery nice! ;)
Second, small critique. IMO the upper drumstick looks like it lies wrong. You must look twice to detect it is lying on the matchbox, and NOT on the other drumstick. :-) Physically it is correct, but just for the eye it is confusing. (Maybe just for my eye)

I have only one observation/query to make. Are the speakers on the radio suppose to be behind a mesh of some sort? It looks like they are covered but the lower right speaker looks like it's sticking out past the screen mesh somewhat. Hopefully you understand what I mean. Speaker's also need to be toned down a bit. They seem too bright, like other's have said about the bowtie.
Good work, tho'. Couldn't have done any better myself.:hmm:

uber nice textures would of been nice if photoshop wasnt needed so you could of had some animations ( i know its a still but thier could be some kool stuff u could with animation and make it a thinking mans animation)

Excellent render! It amazes me what Brazil can do in talented hands. I love the lighting(of course ;)) and especially the texturing. Even the ball on the rightmost edge feels "real" nicely done.
