Hi,

I'm new to AE and I'm trying to create a 2D piece-although I've ran into a problem

I have a piece of text zoom in once-and then again later(with some other movements in between) the problem is with the anchor points.

Everytime I try to point the anchor point to the point I want to "zoom" into it affects the motion before that(curving it or just shifting the motion)-obviously I could duplicate the layer as a way around it but I was wondering if there is a way to free the anchor point up so I can zoom in.

That said-I'm probably just missing something(Andrew Kramer has been a huge help with After Effects)

Thanks

I don't quite follow. You can animate the anchor point however you like. if that doesn't give the desired result, use parenting or pre-compose the whole shebang.

I'm guessing that you made a text that zooms in and then zooms back later, using scale.
If I'm right , then , not the anchor point is the problem , but how you keyframed the entire thing.
