Footwear (First Attemp, newbie)

Its okay to model the boots first, I like the face first becuase then your modeling someone not something... but i am no where near good enough to do that yet, so I'm letting my buddy model the face of the character I'm doing and i've started on the boots (textureing them now, thats tough). I would suggest looking at your tread again though, Perhaps do the top of the shoe then try your treads again.
