I felt like dealing with form and surface and mood today. As opposed to posting another excercise in materials and techniques, I decided to apply some of my most recent discoveries to a final piece i simple call Triste Sol.

I dont like it... art doesn't have to be pretty but it must be asethic. I think your ilustration doesn't have a center point. I like the style but the visual strcutre could be better.

hmm. I like this alot. This is what abstract art should be. It illicites emotion and mood like non other. Well done.:applause:

The only thing that is fishy to me is the little "arm" at the top....it's blurry like DOF but the "arm" right below that looks like it's the same distance away from the camera and it's hardly got any blur on it....other than that...great job man:thumbsup:

i really like this polycarpo - and of course, art, like comedy, isn't pretty
:)

compositionally i dont see anything that i would change - it would be interesting to see a series of these and that could give your work a focus that would be very interesting

i did take a look on your website and browsed through the archives - nice stuff in there!

if you took this as well as some of the other works i've seen, and gave them to a professional printer you would have some work that could stand up very well in any gallery

thank for sharing :)

Just decided to tweak the image from yesterday. I ran it through Digital Fusion this time around. Damn I love that app!

Some of the spanish is wrong. The section that says "todo la dia" should be "todo el dia". But besides that it is cool. Nice to see something different.

good looking out, policarpo - you own the germ aesthetic! Really like the second image - it has a little something more that the last was missing.
